Ararat footballers Sonny Kettle and Hugh Toner have been selected as part of the Greater Western Victoria Rebels' boys' squad for the state under-15 football carnival, the V/Line Cup.

The Rebels will field one girls' and two boys' teams in Shepparton from Monday, September 20, to Wednesday, September 22.
Each will play two games over the three days in the school holidays timeslot.

The squads were finalised after two trials games in Ararat earlier this month and will now have three more training sessions in Ararat in the lead-up to the carnival.
The composition of the two boys' teams is still be confirmed by selectors.
Rick Andrews is the boys' head coach, while Rhys Cahir is coaching the girls' side.
